AQUARIUM

We pick up our guests from the hotel in the Side region between 08:20 and 09:20 and start our tour. We have a 1-hour journey with our guide explaining himself and our program. During the journey, we reach our first destination in Antalya, Kalpuzkaldıran Waterfall, with our guide explaining the culture, geography, agriculture and history of Antalya. This is the biggest waterfall in Antalya. We have 30 minutes at Kalpuzkaldıran Waterfall, which is famous for its natural beauty, where the Düden Stream originates from the Taurus Mountains and flows through the fertile plains, sometimes above ground and sometimes underground, and pours into the Mediterranean Sea from a height of 38 meters. After leaving the waterfall, where we took unique photographs, we headed towards the world’s largest tunnel aquarium, opened in 2012 (131 meters long, 3 meters wide), with 4 thematic aquariums (Indian, Red Sea, Atlantic, Pacific) and you can see the fish growing in the Mediterranean around the large cylindrical aquarium. There are 64 tanks in the aquarium with a water volume of 6800 cubic meters. The decoration of the tank (over 10 thousand sea creatures) was designed by the Italian sculptor Benedetti in Africa, and later includes the wreckage of a warplane, ship and submarine that crashed off the coast of the island of Meis. When we arrive at the aquarium, our aquarium tour continues after our guide takes the tickets he has provided and distributes them to the guests, and we have about 2 hours of time. We enter the aquarium from the entrance on the 3rd floor with our ticket. Approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour is enough time for the aquarium. After the aquarium, we reach the wax museum on the 4th floor with the same ticket. In the wax museum, you can visit wax statues with real body measurements of nearly 100 world-famous musicians, actors, politicians and scientists. Our allocated time for the wax museum is between 30 and 45 minutes. After leaving the world-famous aquarium, we set off towards Kaleiçi, a 15-minute journey. When we arrive, our guide first informs us of the meeting place and time, and then our 2-hour free time begins. During this time, if you wish, you can visit the castle and see the Roman city walls (2nd century AD), Hadrian’s Gate, Hıdırlık Tower, Byzantine churches (6.7.8.9 centuries AD), Seljuk works, the fluted minaret, the symbol of the city (13th century), Ottoman houses and mosques (15.16. You can visit the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. You have to be careful because the streets are like a maze, you can get lost. If you want, you can eat at fish restaurants in the port and take a boat tour. If you want, you can shop in the stores and shops in the castle, sit in any cafe and enjoy the unique view. When time runs out, we meet our guide and head towards our hotels. After a 1-hour journey, we reach our hotel around 17:15-18:00. We continue our holiday with the happiness of having a nice day.
